What kind of flooring for a top floor flat?

Hi there, it’s a small studio, there is a separate kitchen and a bathroom… I forgot to check about the kitchen in the bathroom, but I do need to put flooring down in the main room. If I wanted to have exercise equipment, what could I have that wouldn’t be so noisy? Also, I love to dance and things… So I don’t want to make a lot of noise… I’m also visually impaired though, and I don’t want to have to clean up milk if it spills on carpet… where the bed is, I might like to put some carpet down, I won’t eat there, and I could possibly dance near the bed. For the rest of the room though… What to do? Wood? Tile? How easy are these things to look after and how much noise would they make

Also, the cost? I’m still trying to decide on a color scheme as well… The flat it’s self is not very bright, which is a little bit of a downside since I need Lots of light. So I will probably go with pale blue and white, or something pale.

Check your lease carefully. A lot of flats do not allow hard flooring due to noise issues so you may be forced to have carpet.
