I cant see myself doing what I'm doing for the next 10-30 years (i'm 38). I work in a male dominated, ageist and soulless corporate sector that attracts the like the past 17 years (this is my 4th job in the same industry). I keep toying with the idea of retraining but have 2 primary age kids and may need to wait till youngest in secondary school. Ideas Im exploring include procurement, recruitment or facilities/property management.
What was your last job before retirement or what do/did you do in your 40s, 50s and 60s - and would you recommend it?
