What's your High Street done to prepare for reopening?

We have a fairly vibrant High St, albeit mostly coffee shops and nail bars with a few shops dotted about.

The shops reopen on Monday and arrows have been painted on the pavements to implement a one way system. You will only be able to walk up one side of the road and down the other. Apparently there will be marshals!

I'm tempted to go just to see how that plays out but the reality is I'm really not bothered about going back to the shops and will be avoiding them for as long as I can manage.

Do other towns have similar systems?

Ours has got metal barriers forming queuing systems outside the shops. Boots and M&S have been open throughout with no issue with no queues so I'm not sure why they suddenly need queue barriers!

I'm planning on going for a walk into town just to see how it is working, I don't actually need anything so wont be going into any shops.
