Black pudding straight out of freezer, perfect grilled
Frozen salmon fillets, straight on bbq
While frozen chicken...buy fresh, bung in freezer, cook from frozen. Often buy a free range one if see it on special or yellow stickered and freeze whole

How do you cook a whole chicken from frozen? Surely the outside would be incinerated by the time the middle was cooked.

I wouldn't cook salmon or chicken from frozen... seems a bit risky?

Canned beans....kidney, borlotti, cannellini, I often don't use the whole tin so pop the rest in a freezer bag, made a delicous one pan veggie chilli using the frozen beans straight from the freezer it was perfect.
Also I use Veg like frozen cauliflower etc in soups, it's already chopped and you just pour the entire bag into the soup and let it cook a couple of extra minutes and no chopping and faffing.

Whole chicken from frozen, slightly longer, slightly lower temperature. Wack up at end to crisp skin. Use a meat thermometer to check up to temp. No difference in taste or texture from one from fresh.

Salmon is really lovely from frozen, great texture on the bbq.

Like the cauliflower tip.

I've never cooked a whole frozen chicken but most smaller cuts of meat are fine IME and fish is often better, less risk of it being overcooked.
