But I am so fed up of people close to us, ignoring the rules. My son as been invited to a sleepover by my sister, family are organising a birthday picnic in the park for 4 families. My uncle who is 70 but no health problems, has been shielding at home and we have been doing shopping him as we live the closest, then we found out that when we went to drop of the shopping last week he wasn't home as he had driven for 30 mins to the babysit his grandson as daughter had a shift in the hospital. Apparently his older sister 16 couldn't look after younger child as she had gone out to see her boyfriend!
My parents told be it's all over now so not to worry about it so much.
Just a disclaimer I work in the nhs in admin but am refusing to break the rules / guidelines as they are there for a reason. But fed up of being the mean or boring one for not letting my children meet up with their cousins or family
