40th Birthday next week, ideas to celebrate

I'll be on my own with 3 kids until 5pm (unavoidable, DP will be home to treat me like the queen I am in the evening)

I don't want anything gift wise.

I don't want a fuss.

I don't want to have to pick a few people from my mahoosive family / inlaws to see

I have ordered an expensive cake, as fuck it, I'm going to be 40.

But what else?

Obviously no cooking / non essential chores on the day.

Have started to make a play list to make sure the whole day is full of happy / cheesy / shitty music.

I'm obviously going to get pissed later but can't do that on my own with the kids Grin

What else can I do so it's not like all the other days?

Happy Birthday 🎂

Day off school for the kids (who would notice?) and get them to treat you to a spa experience. Your feet in warm soapy water, washing up bowl will do, foot jacuzzi if you can borrow one. Then get one of your kids to paint your toenails. Others can work on a head massage.

Actually, that'd only kill about 30 minutes. TV ?

How old are your kids OP? Could they give you a pamper session - nails etc??

Is there somewhere you could go for a lunchtime picnic with them?

Thanks.

Kids are 7,5 and 2 but the toddler is disabled so has some specific needs.

Hadn't occurred to me to even attempt to home school them on my birthday Grin

Picnic is a good shout. Weather looks ok.
