I have 5 children. The eldest are 17 14 and 12. The youngest are not a problem. The older ones have only been out for 'walks' about 5 times since school has closed. They do their schoolwork and happily sit at home. What should i do to get them out ?,they need exercise and fresh air but aren't bothered. Im fed up of telling them.

...the 17 year old gets a talk about the health implications, thrown a bottle of vitamin D3 and allowed to make their own choices, but still invited out for family walks to attractive locations at regular intervals.

You are the parent.

Could you get them to play some Just Dance on a games console and make them eat their meals (when not raining) outside so that they can get both exercise and vit D?

Good ideas here, i do need to be more pushy but sometimes its so much effort when im having to tell them daily.
