Anyone else feeling frustrated about job hunting when they haven't even started yet?

This is just a rant thread. I know, I know, it's not a healthy place to start. But I was looking for work during the last recession and I'm not surprised people got so angry.

Just the levels of bull you have to go through to find a job. Endless rejections, endless applications who never even send you a "thanks but no thanks", sometimes no reply even after an interview.

Horrible HR people, awful recruitment agencies who waste your time, pretend they're interested in you and then never contact you again.

All the articles about how to improve your job prospects, which are slightly helpful to a certain point but then why can't they just admit what the real problem is? There aren't enough jobs to go round.

Worst of all, the way unemployed people are blamed for being unemployed. The fewer jobs are available, the more it happens. It doesn't make sense.

I know, I don't exactly look like a great candidate from this thread. This is just a rant thread though. I know how to be professional.

It's just so difficult to even get started when I know how much rubbish I'm going to encounter.

I hate writing cover letters. Hate it.

I've managed to upload my CV to a few jobs websites, but there's practically nothing to apply for at the moment. I can barely even begin when I know how much I'm going to hate the process.

My problem is that I have no way of updating my cv and registering with agencies because I only have my smart phone and I obviously need a pc and a printer . I would normally ask friends, go to the library or do this at work but non of those are an option atm.
