@wowfudge Don’t dream it’s Over is probably my favourite Crowded House track but Woodface is my favourite of their albums. Trying to think when I saw them. I’d say around 2003/2004. Would that be the same time as you? We saw them at the Regent in Ipswich. Not very rock n roll is it? Though slightly more so than the Bryan Ferry gig we saw about the same time where they sold choc ices in the interval!

@Honeyroar Michale Hutchence was soooo sexy. Did you see the documentary that was on over Christmas? So sad but goodness he was gorgeous - especially in the Never Tear Us Apart video - I swear my ovaries reactivated!

@SingingBabooshkaBadly - it will have been the same tour given they live in Oz. Longer ago than I had thought! I mentioned going to see CH next year and DP looked at me as though I were mad. What does he know. Bloody Depeche Mode fan.

@wowfudge Depeche Mode - pah! (actually, I like them too...) My DH is keen to see Crowded House but he has PD and can only now manage gigs if we get wheelchair accessible seats which is always such a rigmarole and of course they’re in short supply... amazed they’re playing the Roundhouse in London which is quite a small venue.

Btw - my not very rock and roll comment was regarding the venue (Ipswich Regent) - not a disparaging remark about Neil Finn!

I wouldn’t have thought it was that long ago either but I can remember some other stuff that was going on in my life at the time.

I haven’t guessed any of these lyrics for ages...hopefully more will get posted soon.
