Sandals similar to Birkenstocks, any recommendations?

I've had a pair of sandals for about 10 years and they've finally given up the ghost. They were super cheap from the kids section in a Next sale. They're very similar in appearance to Birkenstock Milano's and I guess must have been pretty good quality as they lasted so long! I can't afford actual Birkenstocks, so can anyone recommend some leather buckle sandals with a back strap and a moulded cork footbed that are more affordable? I'll add a photo of some Milano's for context. Thank you! Flowers

Don't buy Moshulu. Expensive and the leather stretched after a few wears. They lasted a week. Birkenstocks last years.

If you can fit into children's sizes try Pablosky sandals. I have two pairs in size 5 & they are v comfy.

@YourDaughter
I really like the look of those lazydogs.
Are they more comfortable than Birkenstocks? I find Birkenstocks incredibly painful. I don't even get on with the so called soft foot bed ones.

Thank you so much for that recommendation Onynx - I am a size 5 (4 in Birkenstocks) so I do often look at children's footwear. I'd never heard of Pablosky and they have some great styles within my price range! Smile

@copperoliver

EBay do second hand Birkenstock's and sometimes they still look new, if you look around. X
Always my first port of call copper Grin Sadly nothing on there so far. I do buy second hand Birkis on there sometimes if they are in good condition. Some of the one's being sold on ebay look so manky!

Keep checking on ebay. I bought a second hand pair never been worn for £13 just last week.

@Onynx - where did you get your Pablosky sandals? I looked on their website but it seems it's not possible to get them delivered to the UK so I've looked on loads of other websites and found hardly any size 38s at all, and none of the styles I really liked from the website!

@WordInYourShellLike I am living in Ireland and they have them in many children's shoe shops here. Maybe ring around some local children's shoe shops and ask do they carry that brand?
