Anyone watch the cooking shows this morning?

Did anyone see someone fry fish fillets (sea bass or plaice?), folded over a knob of butter with garlic, spinach and tomatoes added?
My MiL really wants the recipe but can't remember who cooked it, which show etc!
I've watched Saturday morning best bites which is what she thought she was watching but it's not there!
Thanks in advance.

burnoutbabe · 07/06/2020 13:53

Or Sunday brunch with Tim and Simon?
Or maybe John sbd Lisa one on catch up?

Chewbecca · 07/06/2020 13:55

She doesn't know! That's why I am asking...

I was hoping someone would say they saw this recipe being cooked rather than watching all the programmes to find it!

It was Nathan Outlaw on Saturday Kitchen Best Bits, I think, nut definitely this morning's Saturday Kitchen Best Bits, because that is all I watched.

derxa · 07/06/2020 15:19

Sunday Brunch

CuriousaboutSamphire · 07/06/2020 15:29

That's a Nathan Outlaw dish, so it must have been Best Bites

Chewbecca · 07/06/2020 18:30

Nathan Outlaw’s dish had deep fried mullet and no spinach so am pretty sure it wasn’t that.

Was there a dish like this on Sunday Brunch today?

I think she needs to pay more attention next time, she thought I would magically find the recipe despite not knowing what programme she was watching or who was cooking! Never mind.

Can she remember if it was a man or a woman? It might help with a search of recipes online.

derxa · 07/06/2020 18:34

Was there a dish like this on Sunday Brunch today? Yes I watched it being made.

DinosApple · 07/06/2020 18:37

I watched this too. No idea who anyone was (watched a lot of cookery shows today). Looked really delicious.
Sorry, no help at all!

UselessTrees · 07/06/2020 18:43

Sunday Brunch tweet about what's being cooked. They had someone called Tom Brown doing a hake Kiev, was that it? No tomatoes, tho.

iklboo · 07/06/2020 18:46

Just had a look at the hake kiev recipe but it's asparagus not tomato & spinach.

handslikecowstits · 07/06/2020 18:53

It was Nick Nairn cooking remotely with Dougie Vipond on Landward. It looked delicious.

It's on Iplayer here: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000jtl6

Chewbecca · 07/06/2020 19:01

Brilliant, @handslikecowstits, that is the one. Thank you so much.
I have never even heard of this programme - Landward. The recipe looks super.
