I'm sat in bed enjoying some quality peace and quiet with a Brew
Off out in a while as the DC's won't surface for hours
It's sunny here so either a long walk or a bike ride to try out a new coffee shop that's opened back up

Weekends have such a different pace now
I swing between enjoying the slowness and longing for a good old night out with friends

Morning
We are having a lazy morning after some birthday celebrations yesterday.
Still in phase 1 (Scotland) here. Just browsing the internet wondering whether to get my dh a coffee machine for his birthday next week.

Hopefully the day will stay dry and we can get out for a walk later or a run.

Which all sounds much healthier than the strawberry tart leftover from yesterday that I have my eye on for breakfast

Chottie · 07/06/2020 08:59

Morning everyone and I've put some washing out too.

We have sunshine :) - so I've also put the deckchairs out ready for a leisurely coffee and reading the Sunday papers later on. It's my way of making Sunday a little different :)

Hobnobswantshernameback · 07/06/2020 08:59

Yes to strawberry tart
And yes to coffee machineGrin
I'm in Wales and still much more locked down than England here
Hoping things start to slowly move on in a few weeks

CupCupGoose · 07/06/2020 09:01

I'm not sure what emoji you meant to put in your op but for me it shows up as a bike. So you're in bed with a bike!

Hobnobswantshernameback · 07/06/2020 09:06
Grin It's the mumsnet brew emoji Brew But at least if I had the bike in bed with me I could exercise without moving Grin I love hanging towels on the line too We have two coffee machines one in my bedroom and one in the kitchen Both have had a decent workout during lockdown Grin

Morning!

Enjoying a relaxing Sunday in bed. DD is back her dads for the first time since lockdown began, DH is sleeping in the spare room post night shift ( paramedic ) so DS 5 months and I had a lovely lie in until 8am, a cup of tea in bed and hes just going back off to sleep Grin Think I'm going to take him over to sit in my DGMs garden today - she lives alone, is 84 and hasn't seen him since he was just shy of 3 months!

ListenLinda · 07/06/2020 09:15

Morning all. Raining here so that’s limited our options for today. Got a wash in but looks like it will have to be tumbled. DH started work at 6am, waiting for him to come home and see if the weather improves enough to take the kids to feed the ducks along the canal.

What has everyone else got planned today?

golddustwomen · 07/06/2020 09:23

Morning all.
It's cold where I am this morning, debating turning the heating on. Need to dry the work clothes for tomorrow.
Fancy some jam on toast for breakfast.

Hobnobswantshernameback · 07/06/2020 09:24

Hopefully no rain here
Been spoilt by all the glorious weather recently

Glorious sun here but my tea has gone cold. Faced with the detritus of takeaway from last night - my son had some mates over in the garden. I'm ignoring it (or waiting for him to deal with it). I can hear my daughter in her room singing. Later will venture out for papers and try to psyche myself up to get in the chilly pool.

Veterinari · 07/06/2020 09:49

Morning!
Lots of Brew here too - late night last night.

Lots to do here but i'm an eternal procrastinator

Will run at some point and need to do some tidying. But right now I'm in bed with Brew and need at least another one before I can consider getting up!
