If you previously went out a lot prior to lockdown, will you continue when it’s lifted?

We used to spend our weekends in pubs and restaurants, meeting friends or out with our DDs (late teens).

I missed this terribly at the start of lockdown but I seem to be used to it now. It’s sat evening and I’m happy to be ordering a pizza and having a glass of wine, rather than having to get ready to go out and spend a fortune.

Anyone else?

I used to enjoy staying in and having a quiet night or weekend.

Now that has been ruined for me and I will be out every chance I get.

I’ve missed going out. Pre lockdown at least twice a week. However what I think I will change is going out to things/with people I’m only lukewarm about doing/seeing, and won’t do that so much.

God yes. I'm going out every night. And travelling. Can't wait!

Terralee · 06/06/2020 17:49

I can't wait to get back to the gym, shops, coffee shops, restaurants & bars! I live alone so finding lockdown a trial.

I would have given that a swerve in the past, but now I'm going to go anywhere with anyone, even people I don't like.

I used to hate anything that involved large crowds, but in future I will embrace the chance to be so near loads of people.

AgeLikeWine · 06/06/2020 17:53

Absolutely not. I’m in a vulnerable group due to my asthma, so however much I enjoy going to pubs & restaurants in normal times, I won’t be going anywhere I don’t have to go for the foreseeable future.

I do want to but if it's sh3ot social distancing, and queueing just to get in the pub then I might wait

I won't be able to hear any one over 2 metres away in a cafe, pub, restaurant so may as well be at home with a bottle of wine

Exactly this! Already making plans for when we are allowed to do these things hopefully
