Can anyone guess what's wrong with my car? (Ford KA)

It's a Ford KA 2009.

All of a sudden, it has started "glitching" (i.e. getting bumpy) when I shift gears. It does this especially when I am switching from or to third gear.

It seems to be getting worse with each drive.

I am going to take it to the garage on Monday, but I was wondering if anyone could prepare me for what may be wrong?

Sounds like the clutch might need replacing possibly.

Your clutch or the bearings around the gear lever are on the way out probably.

Oh dear. Would it be worth repairing in such an old car (which otherwise runs fine)?

Could be anything, take it to a garage. Then get a second opinion on anything they say. I've got an engineering degree and the bollocks some garages try and spin me makes my husband cringe.
