Silicone wedding ring

Over the years I have put on a lot of weight and my wedding ring no longer fits me. I have not been wearing it for the past few months but I feel like something is missing. Has anyone ever had one of the silicone rings? They seem to be very popular among sportsmen and women, and also those who work manual jobs where it is risky, and I think they are gorgeous. But do they look tacky? Would it look rubbish on an overweight, middle aged mother of two who's only sport is going up and downstairs to put the DC to bed or lifting my wine glass after a shitty day?

At the minute we cannot afford to buy a new proper one so I thought this might be a good substitute, rather than a gold plated one that made my finger green and all the colour flaked off! Help me please! Confused

We have enso rings (not as our main ring) and they look like metal from a distance

My husband wears a silicone wedding ring for work, and I think it looks alright actually. It’s a black one, with a sort of bevel around the edges. He loves it, apparently they’re incredibly comfortable.

Thanks @thecuriousfox! I’ve had it for 5years, and it looks as good as it did when I first got it.
I got it from www.saferingz.com and I can’t remember if I had to pay a customs fee, but I do remember that it came quickly and the shipping was very reasonable.
