The adverts are everywhere about the mans career being over, what on earth has he done?
I’m not clicky clicking on any of the ads because they looks almost gloating and very nasty and like they are targeting him.

I've noticed them too. I haven't clicked either.

Very weird I agree

Youngatheart00 · 05/06/2020 11:28

Now you’ve typed his name you can be sure to be condemned to another 6 months of bear-related advertising/spam Confused 😂

Choice4567 · 05/06/2020 11:30

Those adverts have been around for at least a year on my Mumsnet! I’ve never clicked on them. For a while it changed to Stephen Fry, but seeing as I didn’t click on that either it’s gone back to Bear. I’m assuming it’s just click bait for something else

AngusThermopyle · 05/06/2020 11:33

I 'heard' that he was doing stuff like staying in hotels, not actually being in the wilds like his programmes show, faking stuff and making false endorsement claims. Caveat, This is just plain old industry gossip though from a while back.

OhioOhioOhio · 05/06/2020 11:38

I thought he seemed really nice.

Choice4567 · 05/06/2020 11:45

He is, it’s just massively click bait!

PleasantVille · 05/06/2020 11:47

It's really annoying and there doesn't seem to be any way to get rid of them or report them anywhere.

Acai7 · 05/06/2020 11:50

Just clickbait for spammy dodgy websites.

EvilPea · 05/06/2020 11:56

I’m not a fan due to his shark enclosure aquarium and eating of animals on tv shows all in the name of entertainment.

But those are just click bait adverts

Handsnotwands · 05/06/2020 12:29

He is, in fairness, a massive bellend (source: he lives near me)

EvilPea · 05/06/2020 12:42

Seems a very different character to the very likeable Steve backshaw

MissKittyCat · 05/06/2020 12:56

They are click bait adverts. The say he isn't making TV shows as he is making a fortune trading in Bitcoin and if you send them money they will tell you how you can do so too.

MrsElijahMikaelson1 · 05/06/2020 12:58

I think he’s a bit of a twat so never watch him anyway🤷‍♀️

goingoverground · 05/06/2020 13:00

It's scammy clickbait:

MayFayre · 05/06/2020 13:02

He behaved like a twat at a scouts thing that one of my children went to and I’ve had no respect for him ever since.

KitchenConfidential · 05/06/2020 13:06

If anyone is in any doubt about what a twat Bear Grylls is:
