Hi,
I am new to this site and this is the first time I have ever posted on any thread, so please bare with me.
Right, I had missed miscarriage in April 2020- I suffered a blighted ovum and it took my body 7 weeks to release the sac. I, then bled for 2 weeks, which subsided in May. After 2 weeks I got my period and felt a relief that my cycle had not been affected to the extent that I would be waiting for months for a af to arrive. It was a weird bleed- continuously brown with a few hours of pink but it was very light and I did not experience my usual PMS symptoms.
Anyway, myself and my OH had decided that we would try to concieve straight away. So we started trying. I also started back up with my exercise routine and after doing a session of insanity I began spotting. This was 8 days after my period so i was confused and dismissed this as maybe I exercised too hard. The next day I noticed a light pink bleed every time I went to the toilet. I became concerned so I went to see my gyno. She performed a transvaginal ultrasound and found that there was bleeding in my uterus and couldn't be sure if it was endometriosis. So she prescribed me primolut n 5mg- 1 tablet twice daily for 10 days. I began to take the tablets as prescribed on 31st May. The spotting stopped on 2nd June and I was told to complete the 10 day course.
Sorry for the long story but I feel I need to give a back story in order for anyone to understand the situation.
Since my period stopped- I began taking opk twice a day to determine my LH Surge and as of yet I haven't got a positive on any of the OPK I have taken- it has been 10 days of testing. I also decided to start testing this month for the first time, my BBT chart suggest that I ovulated on day 16 and my temps have risen for the past 3 days. I'm so confused
Have I ovulated even thought my OPK have not been positive( before my missed miscarriage I always got a positive OPK)?
Do you think the primolut has disrupted my ovulation even though I have only been taking it for 4 days?
Can someone please advise. I want to start trying for baby number 2 as soon as.
