Different to the one your gp is catchment to? I’ve heard good things about one for north side of the area I’m from I’m currently with the south team. Could I ask to be under the north?

It all depends on the policy of the cmht. When I have worked in that area, some teams were linked to GPS whereas others were linked to your address. Catchment areas depend on what the local policy is. However I have been out of this field for a few years so might be out of date.

You can ask but when I was a mental hea!th nurse the teams were based on the patients address,s and where the GP,s were based ,also logistically it might not be feasible if which ever CPN you were assigned had to drive a long distance to see you.

It's down to their admission criteria, but they almost always go from the GP address.
