Like most hospitals, ours gets free food for the wards at the moment. A nandos delivery turned up. This is usually a bunfight as the ward staff love a) Free food and B) Chicken! So a staff member and a porter split it between them to take it upstairs (why they did not get a trolley I don't know. That left a few boxes down at reception (not for us), so I took them into reception so passing traffic would not help themselves. Unfortunately, in trying to get in the door, some 'juice' slipped from one of the boxes. I now stink of chicken!
I am not a Nandos fan and don't eat meat! There may also be a residue 'burnt' smell on me as I burnt the pasta for my lunch for today , when I made it yesterday. Although I showered I guess it is still in my hair. :( Doesn't exactly go with Estee Lauder White Linen!
