Buildings and contents insurance on newly bought house

Hi all,
I got a quote for home and buildings insurance from my mortgage broker which I tentatively agreed to during the house buying process.

I completed on the purchase 2 days ago and have received an email from my broker asking that I confirm if I'm ok to initiate the insurances now I have completed on the house.

I've since compared quotes online and feel I can get premiums that are half the price (not sure if what's offered is as good - need to check this) but the form asks for what type of door lock I've got (I think it's a low security lock but I'm hoping to change the door (and lock) fairly soon. I don't know timelines or if I definitely will so I'm worried about putting in info for what type of lock it is as it may change soon and could invalidate the policy.

The policy the broker got me as a 14 day cancellation policy (which I assume is like a cool off period I can exit without penalty) and if later, an admin cancellation fee of around £20 I think.

I feel stuck with what I should do - can anyone offer advice?

Just confirm. If your house burns down now you’re fucked. Think about better quotes next year.
