Who deals with the finances in your household ?

I’m wondering if our set up is normal? I do all of it bills, direct debits, applying for anything etc etc etc - it’s a lot.
Is this the same for everyone if their partner works? Does it fall to the person who doesn’t work to do all this kind of ‘admin’?
Feel a bit under pressure

We both work full time and I deal with the finances. I am better at organising and I like to be in control so it suits us. Not that there's really much to do - everything is pretty automated!

We both work and earn roughly the same.
Finances are not joint as I have a bad credit rating and his is near perfect.

We each pay our portion of the rent separately.
All household bills come out of my account at the beginning of the month via direct debit so no work to do there! DP passes me his share when he gets paid.

Food bills, we split between us. I usually pay and then he transfers me his share.

We do it this way as I'm more organised and I do all the meal planning and cooking

We tend to split the life admin fairly evenly but its all stuff that takes all of our 5 minutes.
E.g DP sorts our his own car insurance as I don't drive.
When it was time to apply for schools, we drew up a list together of our shortlist and then DP filled in the application.
