I'd never heard of it but it seems like a tiny place with a nuclear power station, a few streets and a nature reserve. It has a bit of WW2 history. There are two three bedroomed houses for sale which are very cheap. Near to Southminster which I understand is quite nice. However the area as a whole doesn't seem to have much to offer, it's a bit of a nonentity.

I think it's nice but have only visited, not lived there. It's very small and quiet, ideal if you want coastal walks. I think it's only got one primary school. Most Essex schools in that Maldon/Mersea Island/Southminster area have good Ofsted. Have you thought about Burnham on Crouch which is bigger and would give you more choice?

I have visited Bradwell many times over years and stayed there and close by often it's a wonderful place idea for walkers and it's beautiful countryside. There are a number of beaches even a unofficial nudist beach and all with in one hour 20 minutes drive from London.
