I'll start:
The food at IKEA. Especially the over hyped meatballs!
Cheap crap!

Wine. Never had one that tasted nice and didn't have an after twang.
Gin and tonic. Tastes like its infused with Christmas tree.
Apple earphones. Poor sound quality.

I disagree about Pandora though. I love their designs and the items I have are lovely quality.

Instagram Influencers....I will go out of my way not to buy anything they promote....also MLM schemes(scams) I will not buy or attend any stupid party so I can be flogged overpriced tat I dont want.

JoysOfString · 03/06/2020 14:56

I love festivals, but a festival where you're responsible for small children is not the same thing at all. That's just about finding stuff for them to do, and queueing for toilets/face painting/expensive food they won't eat, while missing your favourite bands :o

Friday Night Dinner. Silly, childish, repetitive humour (how many more times can they put salt in each other’s drinks?). I didn’t even crack a smile.

lilgreen · 03/06/2020 17:12

New Years Eve

blueglassandfreesias · 03/06/2020 18:12

All beauty treatments.

Bluewavescrashing · 03/06/2020 18:19

Hush. So expensive and poor quality. Easy to recreate the look with other brands eg Next or Tu for harem joggers

wisba · 03/06/2020 18:19

Social Media Influencers
Vogue - full of ads, over priced magazine
Lip filler - please don’t you’ll look ridiculous
Range Rovers - gas guzzlers driven by attention seekers

ScrimpshawTheSecond · 03/06/2020 18:43

Suburbia.

shadyzadie · 03/06/2020 18:59

The middle class obsession with Cornwall as a UK holiday destination. Soooo crowded and traffic jams everywhere. Much prefer Pembrokeshire.

FelicisNox · 03/06/2020 19:04

Michelle William's..... god awful actress.
I've seen Tupperware with more personality.

And Wagamma: what is THAT about? You go out for a meal with 6 people and you all pay over the odds to watch each other eat because the meals all come out at completely different times???

It's a no from me.

Somewhereinthesky · 03/06/2020 19:16

Made me sad reading this thread. If someone said they loved something, they loved something. What's wrong with that? Just because you didn't think it as amazing as they said, it really doesn't mean it's shit. They just have different taste. Otherwise, one for all, and life would be truly boring.

MarinePsychiatrist · 03/06/2020 19:18

I don't think anyone has said that other people shouldn't love anything? I think you're misunderstanding the premise of the thread tbh.

Somewhereinthesky · 03/06/2020 19:22

Marine, most likely, tbh. I am not native English speaker, I happen to misunderstand a lot. Sorry I was talking nonsense!

MarinePsychiatrist · 03/06/2020 19:24

Fair enough. It's not anyone saying others shouldn't love things. It's just about things that everyone seems to love, but you yourself don't.

Somewhereinthesky · 03/06/2020 19:28

Thanks!

The newest Star Wars trilogy. Got progressively worse until the last one descended completely into twee Disney crap where the central characters basically continually repeated the mantra "we can do it coz we're friends". It's supposed to be Star Wars not Toy Story FFS.
