Is anyone's child awaiting an operation at GOSH?

If so, what communication have you had so far? I'm not sure if our next appointment is going ahead yet. Our daughter is due surgery but thankfully it's not really urgent.

I'm pregnant too and worried about what will happen now if birth and op are close together, especially as (quite understandably) only one parent is allowed in to the hospital for the duration. I'm hoping to breastfeed as I did for DD so I'm not sure how on earth this will work (if two parents were permitted we could probably swap and do shifts and I could pump - I'm at home with DD though so I feel she is the priority as she'll be used to me and will understand what's going on whereas baby won't)

Also concerned about pre-op CT scan etc as I won't be able to sit with her to help her keep still if pregnant though DH hopefully could. But by the time her op comes around baby may be a few months old and it would be more manageable, I don't know what to expect!

I know GOSH hasn't had Covid patients as such but that they were looking after ill children from other hospitals hence treatments and surgeries being suspended.

Quick bump, maybe it's one for children's health board?
