Do I want an iPhone SE or 11?

I have an iPhone 8 which I love but it is old and the battery is crap. I know the SE is almost identical and I would like it, however I am trying to decide if getting the 11 would be better?

DD2 has an 11 and swears by it but as far as I can see the only thing that is better is bigger screen size and better camera, neither if which I particularly need.

Is there anything else which makes it better? I also worry it may be too big for my arthritic fingers - has anyone found that to be an issue?

These are the two phones I'm deciding between too. Dh and DD have the 11 and the battery is amazing but it just seems so big. I much prefer the size of the SE, I'm tempted to wait until the 12 is announced because there's rumours that there'll be a smaller one.

I’m in the same position as you. I love my 8, but it’s getting old. I’m going to get an SE next. I like the size, and it does everything I need.

I have an 11. The only reason I upgraded was due the amazing camera. I love that the phone is quite big, bad eyesight!

I don't know that an amazing camera would justify the cost of the 11. I mostly only use it for taking pics of the dog and other random birds/animals! I do think the big screen would be good as I have poor eyesight but I manage fine with the 8. I think the overall size puts me off. I wonder when the 12 will be announced? It will be interesting to see what comes out then.

I've just had to replace mine - I went for the new SE.

The size and weight decided me. I have small hands and don't want to have to hold a big phone. Even so I'm finding it heavy and wide after my 5SE.

It was the lack of the home button on the 11 though that was the decider. I love that home button and the fingerprint scan. I'm not sure the facial scan is good enough to cope with my varied collection of glasses and sun glasses!
