Nintendo Switch - anyone manage to get hold of one?

I’m desperate to get one. Both of my ASD kids are addicted to Animal Crossing and I cannot handle another breakdown when they both want to go on at the same time. DD wants to buy her own switch and we are going to add a little money in so she has enough now but I cannot find one for love nor money.

I have stock checker alerts on but nothing so far. Any idea where I can get one or how I can go about getting hold of one when someone gets it in stock?

Argos. Signed up for Stock Informer emails, and missed out several times on Very and Curry’s as I wasn’t quick enough. I just happened to be checking my emails about 8 AM one morning and it came through. I already had an Argos account so it was quick (I didn’t on Very so I had it in my basket and by the time I created an account to check out, it had been removed from my basket). Argos also wouldn’t deliver - I had to collect from a concession in a local Sainsbury’s. But it was available to pick up within 48 hours.

I got one from Smyths toys online about 3 weeks ago, arrived in 2 days too.

There's a Yellow switch lite on Argos available to collect from 11am tomorrow if that's any good?

I picked one up for a friend in my local Tesco last week. She lives a distance away from me but tweeted them asking if they had stock in her area or mine. They said it was showing 1 in stock so I nipped in and got it for her. Maybe give that a try?

We got one from Smyths too, after using a stock checker, you have to be really quick. It was out of stock as soon as we ordered.

Very have got the switch lite in stock if it’s any good.

This website is a good one to keep an eye. They monitor stock levels and will show who has stock and who doesn't

Thanks everyone, I’m registered with the Nintendo site now too. Nintendo Lites do seem to be around but the actual switch is still out of stock everywhere. I’ll keep loooking!

They had them on amazon the other day, we got one for sons birthday, they had most colours of the light in stock, but didn't look for the usual one

I managed to get a neon switch at Asda the other day. It was letting me put it in the basket and order with an available slot on the app, which i figured it wouldnt do if oos. So i popped in on the night, lad went to check the back with an eye roll and came back as shocked as me he had one in his hands, said hed not seen one for months and it hadnt been there yesterday so i was mighty chuffed! People are just going there for food shops, trying to get in and out as fast as possible so figured it would be the best place to check.
