I have six old bananas taking up space in my freezer....

Ideas please, what can I make other than banana bread?

The last two I thawed out were very soggy indeed, so it needs to be something that works with a pulpy texture.

Thank you!! Grin

In the freezer or fridge? If they’re in the fridge, you can slice and freeze them, then whisk them up with chocolate chips or chocolate powder and make ice cream.

You can blend them from frozen with a small amount of milk to make a really nice banana milkshake. You do need a decent blender for this!

I would chuck in the blender with milk and peanut butter to make a milk shake!

I eat them, slice by slice straight from the freezer. They have the texture and flavour of banana ice cream.

Blend with apple juice & berries to make delicious smoothies.

Milkshake! Did it this morning with the same thing, it was well received in this heat!

Ohnonotnow · 30/05/2020 14:41

Definitely a milkshake, with peanut butter if you have any

Blend frozen with yogurt, cinnamon and little bit of sweetener - instant ice cream.

pinkazing · 30/05/2020 14:46

Vanilla a sweetener blended perfect soft icecream

I’m drooling like Homer Simpson, at these suggestions. 🤤

Thank you everyone for all the suggestions. We've unfortunately had a freezer mishap, and by the time I realised they were so mushy as to be unusable, but I'll keep the ideas for next time I get some! Thank you Grin
