Has anyone actually spoken to TUI regarding a July holiday?

I would like to speak to them but obvs can't get through . Has anyone spoken to them regarding options for July holidays ? I don't want to go because I have a vulnerable child with SN aside from the other reasons but want to know if I can amend and what the implications are . I booked and paid for it last September ! 😬

You can amend using the manage my booking section. Log in to the page first.

I haven’t spoken to them but it’s in their Coronavirus Q and As on the tui website.

Is there a charge ? I have read through but can't make sense of it tbh . Mentions holidays up to 11 th or 30 th June in places and August but not July .

It's only on online bookings , I booked in the bloody store only because it was cheaper than the exact holiday on the website 🙈

There is no charge to amend July holidays. It's really simple to do yourself online.

Ah I've just seen you booked in store, I'm unsure in that case.

You need to register online with your booking details. Then you can edit.

OP if you have someone in your party who is in the Government vulnerable or extremely vulnerable group, and get a letter from your doctor and using you against travel in July, there should be a number to call on the FAQ on the TUI site. I did this as I am in the vulnerable group. Got straight through (this was a month ago) and I do mean straight through, I rang the number, a couple of option and someone answered. Took 2 minutes max. I emailed the letter to them whilst on the phone, the lady approved the refund of the deposit we had paid there and then. To be fair, I have yet to get the money but they said up to 6 weeks, I have it in writing from them.

HTH, good luck!

Oh that's fab .. my son isn't vulnerable per se but has special needs and an unknown genetic condition and the thought of having to manage him aside from the normal holiday ( hospital or quarantine ) is bringing me out in a cold sweat.. thanks so much.

I got though and have changed it to next year .. for free .. I wanted to cancel and get my money back but it wasn't an option unless I gave up 70% if the money !

Keepn trying. I was on hold for 3 hrs but amended my booking to go in August 2021. I had to do it by June 30th.
