If you're a size 18+ what would you wear up top to go running? Don't like feeling uncovered...

I’m in the same boat. Started running two months ago and I wear cropped leggings with a phone pocket. I have been wearing a baggy cotton t-shirt but too hot now. I’ve just bought a ‘technical’ cheapie t-shirt from Mountain Warehouse which is a loose size 18. Will be trying it tomorrow.

I had to take a few days off this week as pushed myself too hard and this things are hurting. I was feeling so pleased with myself as well 😢.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this (and I don't know if you have large boobs) but I swear by my boobuddy. It's essentially a thick piece of elasticated material that you velcro together over the top of your sports bra and it stops the upward bounce. It helps massively, both in terms of comfort and confidence (when running towards someone in the street!). Good luck with your running!

You can get special t-shirts that are designed to wick away moisture and to prevent you from smelling.

Try something like this:

If you want something to cover your bum, I saw these long vests on the M&S website earlier.

I'm 17 and a half stone and a size 20 /22 and just about to start week 4 of c5k. I think alot of people are using this time to get fit so no one will judge you and if they do who cares.
A good sports bra is most important ( currently breastfeeding so my already big boobs are huge).
I got a Nike top with panels which are comfy but most of the time I just wear my normal asos leggings with a baggy vest ( one a size too big).

Good luck with the running km aiming for a 10 next year when hopefully some stuff will be back to normal.

The tightest sports bra possible. I did a gentle jog last week to catch up to my Mum and Sister during our social distancing walk. I only had a normal bra on It was not a pretty sight GrinI
Keep thinking about starting jogging again. I live minutes away from a nice flat seafront but I'm knackered after walking for 5 minutes so I'd probably be dead after running that length of time. For some reason I just can't control my breathing whilst running. Yet give me any other form of exercise and I'm fine
