What are you doing about travel insurance?
I’m booked to go abroad mid July to Greece and although it’s unlikely to go ahead, I’m worried that it will go ahead! I really don’t want to go, I’ve paid for all inclusive which most certainly won’t be fully available for a start and there are the obvious concerns about corona virus. I also cannot get time off work to quarantine for 14 days afterwards if that is still in force by then.
I can move the holiday to next year and pray that things are more back to normal by then. I am however concerned that travel insurance almost certainly won’t cover us for anything Covid related. If we have to cancel because one of us is ill or if we were to become ill whilst away we won’t be covered for medical costs.
It’s a lot of money to lose if I cancel now and I’m concerned that prices will rise so much that I won’t be able to afford to go next year if I don’t move the holiday now. I can rebook for the same price plus an extra 20% incentive is being offered so seems madness not to move the holiday.
