I'm obsessed with this - I want to make there and change nothing.

Wow!!!!!
What's with those authentic shop fronts? Weird.
And FOUR washing machines!!
Gorgeous from the outside and a lovely pool and grounds.
But it just doesn't look very comfy or lived in.

Oh wow!!

I wonder if it belongs to a film director or something. It’s stunning. Mahooosive!!

The little village is bizarre, although the chap on the bike outside the massage parlour looks thrilled with life. Apparently it's owned by an eccentric billionaire (no kidding!)

I care for a few elderly people with dementia that would love to live in a little vintage mini village but not sure how I'd feel about telling people I kept them in the basement!

DH thinks I'd be an eccentric billionaire if we had billions and he'd be a quiet, retiring one. Grin

Wondering who decided to add a massage parlour and wonder what was actually behind that door!

Those windows with the dividers in them would do my head in.

Some of those rooms look like they were used as sets for Columbo Grin

LouLouLoo · 28/05/2020 00:16

I love it!

SingingSands · 28/05/2020 00:17

Why are all the pots and pans on display at the bottom of the stairs and not in the kitchen?!

I reckon there is "staff" working here, hence the four washing machines and industrial ironing/press.

Also, chairs everywhere. Beside the bath, yes put a chair there. Little alcove, stick a chair in it.

MrsOfBebbanburg · 28/05/2020 00:27

All those bedrooms- they’d need staff to clean and cater for the residents of they were all occupied. Looks like an entertaining type of house where they had guests to stay.

Wildlingyoumakemyheartsing · 28/05/2020 00:29

You would need a full time cleaning time. Also might not be for staff but some of those bedrooms look like self contained flats for extended family/housekeeper etc. Its amazing. Beautiful driveway and entrance.

CoolShoeshine · 28/05/2020 00:56

Wow. Is there even a house as big as that in the uk?
It’s very much the style of my old Sindy house.

CoachBombay · 28/05/2020 01:02

Imagine trying to clean it 😱 no...

Suppose the person who does eventually buy it, has the money to hire a team and not just one poor housemaid, I mean talk about overworked and underpaid.
