Father's Day gift for Dad to be

Any ideas for gifts for a Dad to be for Father's Day,
No budget, any ideas would be very much appreciated

@minniemountain that’s not a very nice thing to say. Are you saying that a woman who is carrying a child isn’t a mother until that baby is born?

@Westiegirl3 I’m planning on just buying a nice card & maybe some chocolate or something. Nothing too extravagant, I’d like to save that for next year when his son is here to give him it in person

Just a nice card with the photo of the scan moonpigged on it. They do some "I can't wait to meet you" cards

You can get a card on Moonpig etc where you upload the scan pic and it says something like 'Happy Father's day from the bump' and maybe a nice bottle of Whiskey/ what ever he drinks?

@Newmama29 that sounds nice, and along the lines of what I was thinking. I think it's a lovely gesture, especially as the men are losing out on so much at the moment, not being allowed to attend appointments etc.

Newmama, they would be an expectant mother not an actual mother surely? Not a horrid thing to say at all.

@RaininSummer sorry maybe I just find it an insensitive comment. Whether expecting or not you are still a mother or father to that baby even if it hasn’t been born yet. I do feel we should honour expecting parents on these days as you don’t know the journey they have had to get to that point. My baby may not be born yet but I am a mum & my DP is a dad & it’s just nice to appreciate that

@Newmama29 I agree, and I'm grateful for all of your suggestions. I'll have a look for a card on moon pig I think it would be lovely with a scan picture and he does have a love for a favourite chocolate. Thanks all
