What do you use to get rid of spots caused by sweating?

DP has the most unbelievably clear skin ever but has recently developed what I can only describe as teenage looking acne all over his back. They look really sore and angry.
I’m pretty sure it’s due to him working in sport outside in the heat which means he’s essentially sweating for 6+ hours a day. It’s only in the last few weeks while it’s been hot that it’s started so I assume it’s from sweat. He showers as soon as he gets home but it seems to be getting worse not better. Any solutions?

He could try a mild body scrub/exfoliater, a drop of tea tree oil on the spots, make sure he dries properly after a shower and wear natural fabrics as much as possible. I sympathise as I get it on my chest when I run. Clinique did used to do a Back & Chest spray for acne on the body but I don’t know if it’s still available.

Just seen the Clinique one is discontinued 🙁. However, Boots and Superdrug do their own versions:

Good luck!
