How hard is it to find another woman to collaborate with in the IT sphere.

This is not a job advert, it's just that I'd love to work with, or loosely collaborate with a like-minded woman, who likes being involved with IT, but I find this only to be natural amongst men working with men, but not us women. Am I type casting or maybe I'm expecting too much, without the legwork?

I'm pretty senior in IT. Role along the technical architect/programme management lines, looking (at a fundamental level) how to drive strategic business objectives using technology. At a tech level, the key focus is on global business systems i.e. Salesforce/SAP. However, I'm not really clear what you are referring to in terms of women who are involved in IT? Coders are fairly few and far between in the corporate IT world, women or not.

I'm an App Dev Team Lead and the team is 6 women and 1 man. We are a full stack Microsoft house. The work is for Local Government, so not commercial/agency, which probably has some bearing on it.
