Would this have been a full blood count?

i don't think so.

why don't you move this to general health section, there are several medics who keep a helpful eye on that.

will get better response.

Almost certainly, because the white blood cell count part of a FBC is highly relevant (and FBC would normally include hb)

There may have been other tests as well, depending on why they are investigating those

Iron stores are done on a biochemistry sample. Infection markers can mean several things: white cell count is part of a full blood count but CRP is also done on biochemistry. It would be usual to check an FBC at the same time as iron stores. If you had two tubes taken I would guess they were a FBC and a biochemistry.
