Long evenings or short and balmy?

Looking outside now 9pm it’s really light. It will just drift into darkness for another But it’s a bit chilly.

I used to live in Florida. Sun went down ( spectacularly) in 20 minutes . But dark warm and hot.

I feel the long days are a blessing but maybe because our short winter days are just so appalling.
Having dramatic sunsets followed by a lovely warm night was very nice.

But what do you like?

Somewhere in between :-)

My Grandma lives in Darwin and the days are just too short! It's lovely and warm but sunset at 18:30/19:00 is just too early

I live in Cyprus; in the height of summer the sun goes down at 8.30pm (feel robbed). But in the winter we have lovely, long days - sunrise at 6.30am and sunset at 5pm.

Latitude of St Louis, Mo suited me - dark around 9 in the summer. So enough of an evening to do something in daylight after work, but nice warm evenings in the summer too.

I bloody love Florida but I've only been twice and that was on holiday. I loved the warm dark evenings. They were juat fab!

Love the long nights. Would be nice if the evenings were warmer
I have family live in Florida, as soon as the sun goes down they batten down the hatches to avoid the bugs.
Feels so alien for it to be so early as soon as sun goes down, wherever. Winter sun etc.
Long nights for me
