Have you got a really good carpet cleaning machine that you could recommend?

Rather than replace, going to give them a clean.
Needs to bring them up like new, not too wet and lightweight if possible.

It does make them look better, but I guess it depends how old/how much wear is on them as to whether they'd look new again.

I’ve had a vax in the past but it wasn’t at all any good.

We've had two. The newer one is a lot better. I didn't want to spend £000s though.

I bought a VAX and it is superb. I won't ever need to pay for carpet cleaning again.

I have a Bissell and am pleased with it. However, we are a clean household - no pets or small children, and don't wear shoes in the house.

No help here sorry I get someone in to do it but they do a fabulous job!!

Ours is a platinum power max. We have small children, sometimes a dog and no matter how hard I try, shoes are worn in the house.

It cleans our cream material sofa well too (I don't know what possessed me that day)

This one is really good. I’ve done the whole house a few times, the carpets were stained & grim before. It’s great.

We've got the rug doctor. It cleans our cream carpets really well and leaves them almost dry. Would definitely recommend.
