Hi, I’ve always wanted to set up my own business as a domestic cleaner. It’s something I’m good at, I enjoy it and feel a lot of satisfaction making somewhere look lovely.

I’ve always been like this, even as a child and have thought I had OCD. I have particular issues with order and symmetry etc and love to organise.
I was diagnosed with OCD 3 years ago and am medicated for it.

So the issue is that I live in an area that doesn’t seem to have many cleaners ( Liverpool ) and would have to advertise to the whole city and wider area, I would like to offer a cleaning, organizing and de-cluttering service and am pretty flexible.

I also think it would be good to offer eco friendly/traditional cleaning methods and products as well as commercial products like bleach, flash etc.

So any ideas? I’m annoyed at myself as when I’ve seen threads like this on here before I’ve been full of ideas but am struggling with my own.

There is so much I need to do ie look at decent insurance, a vehicle, a business plan etc but I would really like a name.

Sorry that was long and rambling. Thanks for reading and for any ideas, Zoflo.

Businesses are usually listed alphabetically in searches so I would try to stick to something that will be near the top.
Sorry I can't think more clearly for further ideas, stressed brain won't think. I will return if anything comes to me.

Almost everyone uses google now, so think of a phrase people would put into google or Facebook to find you.

So something like DitzyDoo tells you nothing, but Liverpool Household Cleaning and Decluttering Service delivers.

My cleaning business is after my first pet - which coincidently had a name connected to the job!
Good luck on your venture op.
A tip I would give is to be as' open minded' as you can!!
On my 'done' list is putting up /taking down Xmas trees and bathing a ddog!!
Long standing costumers now!
Smile

I have a profile on Care.Com, you can browse jobs for free but replying to paid members you need to be a paid member - there are some free members you can apply to for free . Set up a profile and you can see what people in your area are looking for! They can rate you if they use you too!
