Would this kill you off?

I live at point B in the middle of a near enough (ish) straight between point A & C

To my left work A is 4 miles away. To my right school is ten miles away.

I would have to do the school drop ( 10 miles away) as ex is useless and unreliable and I cannot fought on him to be on time at pick up. We’ve tried it before. He’s an idiot he’s always late. Then I would have to drive all the way back (another ten miles) then four more on to work. Point A.

Then repeat in the afternoon.

Is this sustainable?

I made it a promise to myself to never have more than half an hour commute, but I never had to factor in a school dropoff so...

These days I'm less fussed about commutes thanks to podcasts. I'm currently weeks behind!

Around 19-20 mins to school from home. 15 mins to work from home

So it’s going to be roughly an hour - I think I could cope with that. It was just having to drive back past home to get to work

It seems like you’d be rewarding your ex’s parenting failures by taking more on.

Do the journey times vary by time of day?

Yes Dozer Friday afternoons are dreadful getting out of the town which tbh has just really coloured my view on it. It can be stand still plus there is a river swing bridge thing which closes down to let boats though. Could be there 20 minutes. Gah!

Ex H is an insufferable idiot man child. This is why he is an ex.
