Right - full disclosure I am not a patient person and meditation drives me absolutely demented after about 6 minutes. I'm also so far past "overloaded" that it hasn't been funny for a good long while - single parent, very very busy WFH, plus fairly demanding home-school requirements, and DC shielded due to health conditions.
I NEED all your tips for 5 minute calm down strategies please, for me and for DC (age 7). I feel on the edge of losing it for far too much of the time. I have been trying the "stop, drop and listen" parenting thing which is good, but I could use your ideas for other ways to calm myself down and distract myself.
I know, really, that there is time to pause in the day - but I am not finding it naturally and I need to change that for my sake and for the DC. Help!
