Does anyone think they'll be going camping this summer?

I'm tentatively looking at making a speculative booking to go for 5 days in August but don't know if I need to get my head out of my backside!

I think you will be allowed. Pubs will be open by then. If it's safe to go to the pub surely it's safe to sleep in a tent??

It's the communal bathrooms that are the risk, not sleeping in the tent.

Campsites start reopening tomorrow in my US state, but they have to follow some fairly strict rules about cleaning. I'm giving them a while to get the hang of it, and see if there are more cases as a result, but I'm fully expecting to go camping this summer.

We have toilets in pubs here 😂 if pub toilets are safe, so are campsite toilets

Are pubs going to be open by August? Weren't they excluded from the list of venues that might be able to reopen from July?

ReadingTeaLeaves · 22/05/2020 01:02

Camping in the garden next week... Not expecting much else this year. But if campsites do reopen we'll be trying to elbow barge everyone else out of the way so we can book!

Nooooooo!! They have to open soon surely?? How can teacher cope without the option of a pint after work?! How can the rest of us?! I thought it was july Sad
