Can you legitimately find out what someone is doing on snap chat?

I'm not great with tech so if someone could assist, it"d be helpful. I have googled it, but as far as I can see, although there's a multitude of websites offering info, I can't see what is genuine and what would be 'malware'.

My husband uses Snapchat in secret. I know he has it, he doesn't know that i know he has it.
.my understanding is that the pictures sent through it automatically delete themselves when they're opened.

Is there any way that I can find out what he's up to? Without installing anything on his phone?

Not unless you know his password and you log into his accojnt

Anything extra that claims that they can give you information about someone else’s dealings on snap is absolutely and completely a scam.

Can you just go onto his phone, open up his app and look through old pictures he has sent (press the two rectangles that are together below the big circle at the bottom)?

@sunbathingdragon. I pressed the two rectangles like you said and it came up with "memories" and said "you don't have any snaps" is this right?

Or have I clicked the wrong thing?

@Namey32 if you can get onto his account, you can see who his ‘best friends’ are I.e who he messages. If there’s a number next to their name with a little flame, that’s a streak so the number will tell you how many days in a row he’s been talking to that person. If you take a picture on Snapchat, press the blue circle with the arrow at the bottom and it’ll come up with names. It’ll say best friends with names underneath

If you look to the left there should be past contacts who he's last messaged. If he's not saving the pictures, there won't be anything to see.

This means he’s not saved any pictures he’s sent to his phone I.e the pictures he’s sent are gone forever and disappeared after being sent

Ah ok thanks everyone. Sounds like I've got no chance of finding anything on there. He's more technologically able than I am so can probably cover his tracks better.

@dandymottahs yes, but I need concrete evidence, which I don't think I'm going to get from snap chat.
