Perimenopausal Itching ... Sensation Of Crawling Skin

Hello

I am 44 and peri menopausal im fairly sure.

At night im struggling so much with itching right from the top of my head down to my toes

I am desperate to make it stop , it sends me beserk as i am literally scratching until about 5am.

My skin is well moisturised and iv no eczema .

Has anybody else experienced this and what have you tried ?

I have read that some people try antihistamines.

I have just sprayed Magicool cooling spray on my vulva and everything in between

Hormones are bloody awful things .

OMG Ive been feeling like that. I usually get acupuncture for peri-menopausal symptoms but obv haven’t had that recently.

My itching can be like spiders walking on me but can also be sharp, like being stabbed with a needle. Here there and everywhere.

I can’t see any beasties and I’ve thoroughly washed all my bed linen and towels but the only thing that’s helping is moisturiser.

What causes that? Anyone know? Apart from it being hormones obv! I had not considered it could be this!
