I made a CHAPS payment from Barclays for a fairly large amount (over £30k) but the money still hasn't left my account despite it being 10 minutes since I made the payment- have I done it right?
I know it can take a few hours for the person at the receiving end to get it but with all other outgoing payments, it usually leaves my bank account almost immediately. I've never done a CHAPS payment before which is why I'm even more worried if I've done it correctly or not.
I don't want to re-do it for obvious reasons..(in case I make 2 transfers i.e. sending double than what I shoud....!)
