...what would you spend it on?

Someone inspire me, otherwise I'll either spend it on my child (which I was instructed not to do) or leave it in my wallet forever and forget about it!

I've got a £100 John Lewis voucher and I'm going to put it towards a set of saucepans - not very inspiring, sorry 😀

IDefinitelyHaveFriends · 17/05/2020 23:08

Running/yoga leggings

normalpeeps · 17/05/2020 23:12

Put it towards...

  • S3 Apple smart watch
  • Slow cooker
  • New bag or wallet
  • Nice summer dress
  • Sandals
  • Christmas decorations
  • Picture frame
Mascotte · 17/05/2020 23:19

I'd buy by terry under eye comcealer and another little thing

Knan10 · 17/05/2020 23:21

Some lovely new towels :)

KingSheathBelle · 17/05/2020 23:29

Toward nice dressy watch, a bag, or a running watch.

Though £50 would buy some amazing xmas baubles.

Mascotte · 17/05/2020 23:40

Or perfume...

GivenchyDahhling · 17/05/2020 23:42

I had a Selfridges voucher from Christmas gathering dust that I’ve just spent on a baby blanket and Egyptian cotton cot sheet - sorry, not what you’re looking for! But I really struggled even when I received it, pre-lockdown, to decide what to buy. It could have gone towards something much more expensive I suppose but just a couple of months after DS had been born I couldn’t really bring myself to splurge.

If I was adamant I wasn’t spending it on DS, I probably would have bought some kind of skincare - a Clarins cleanser, Chanel moisturiser, something like that. Or maybe some new red wine glasses.

5LeafPenguin · 17/05/2020 23:43

Molton Brown shower gel or eucalyptus body scrub.

YesNoYesMaybe · 17/05/2020 23:44

Towels!

bluechameleon · 17/05/2020 23:48

I would buy something by Emma Bridgewater. If I bought the tomatoes medium bowl I'd have £10 left over which I would probably spend on something useful like a new set of napkins or an oven glove, although those would take me over by a couple of pounds.

Bluetooth speaker

Lamp

New mixer. / Other small home electronics

Lovely new underwear or pymajas

Random serving ware or barware I don't already have but I've always wanted

Sparklingbrook · 17/05/2020 23:52

I would buy some nice food from Waitrose.

edgehorn · 17/05/2020 23:55

Le creuset

Bunbunbunny · 17/05/2020 23:55

Put it towards new bedding or an electrical item like an iPad

Blackbear19 · 17/05/2020 23:57

Fluffy towels, cosy bedding, or at this moment in time a pair of great big headphones.

KingSheathBelle · 18/05/2020 00:01

Toward a kindle? Actually, if I had to choose again I'd get a Nook e reader as you can read digital library books on them.

Paranoidmarvin · 18/05/2020 07:02

I would have bought the actual kitchen knobs I liked but couldn’t afford instead of the ones I bought from amazon Grin

Neeks888 · 18/05/2020 07:31

Pasta machine or put towards a bread maker

ineedto · 18/05/2020 10:29

Given the amount of time currently spent at home my favourite recent purchases have been jigsaw pyjamas, jo malone body creme, Bobbi brown radiance mask, a throw for sofa movie afternoons, jo malone candle, a glittery nail polish (missing a manicure but crap at own nails - very forgiving) and hush yoga pants (add sandals, top and necklace and I look practically human).
All under £50 and available through JL.

chickpeachicky · 18/05/2020 22:36

Towards noise-cancelling headphones definitely!

polkadotpjs · 18/05/2020 22:39

A neom candle and a new eyeliner

pinksquash13 · 18/05/2020 22:42

Tall fan. Photo frame. Nars blusher. Neom diffuser

CatBatCat · 18/05/2020 22:44

Cast iron pot or skillet
