Pinprick rash on my chin

cliffdiver · 17/05/2020 21:51

Developed an itching and slight pinprick rash on my chin this afternoon.

The last time I had this was many years ago when taking Amoxicillin (since been diagnosed with allergy).

I've eaten nothing new today.

Any ideas what it could be?!

That's really odd, I woke up with a sore chin this morning too. Looks bruised and sore but I don't remember hurting it.

Have you been sitting with your chin on the palm of your hand at all today or yesterday? I get a pinprick rash if I cover my hand with my sleeve and then sit with my chin resting on it.

Have you eaten a lot of sugar? It could be a hormone rash.

Hand hadn't been on my chin, and haven't eaten a lot of sugar (it came on when I was eating a roast dinner).

Seems fine this morning.

This is really odd, I got the same rash last week. It’s nearly gone now Shock

Didkdt · 18/05/2020 08:57

My son has this it's odd

This is really strange isn't it. I can't seem to find any Covid connection and our small sample would indicate it's not gender or age related, so I'm bemused. Hopefully it's just one of those things and will clear up quickly for everyone

WowOoo · 18/05/2020 16:42

Have you been wearing a mask? Could be a sweat/heat rash if so.

cliffdiver · 19/05/2020 13:16

No mask. Haven't been outside the house since work on Friday.

Reading this thread is making it itch again Grin
