DH has a big birthday next month. All plans are obviously out the window, so thinking about celebrating with a Halfway to Christmas theme. We have an artificial tree, and all the usual Christmas tat in the loft, including crackers. I have a jar of mincemeat and a Xmas pud, and plenty of booze for cocktails. After that I am stuck for inspiration - all suggestions for food, drink, decor, party games, dress code, silly gifts welcome! Xmas Smile

Well, pigs in blankets would go down well at any time of year in this house (probably better than turkey).
Paper snowflakes are always a good backstop? Lots of glitter.
You could use cheap wrapping paper to cover a door frame completely, and make a paper crossed over ribbon on it, and get someone to burst through it?

I love the door idea!
Pigs are always a winner too.
Thanks
