Hotels with campsites (for 2021 of course)

Do they exist? Large group of us usually go away each year but we’ve decided a UK based trip will be more sensible next year. This lead to the idea of camping. All good. Expect I can’t stand camping, never had a good nights sleep whilst camping which has always led to a migraine and a ruined trip.

So in an ideal world I’d like a hotel/b&b with a campsite attached so I can enjoy all the good parts of camping, without the actual camping (Dp&DC love camping). My google search is coming up dry, surely they exist somewhere in England/wales?

Depends what you mean by the good bits of camping?

Butlins has a hotel at at least one of their sites.

What about a chalet on a camping park? Quite a few places have those

Rudding Park near Harrogate has both.

You could try a hostel that allows camping, but the camp sites tend to be more basic.

@lyralalala I love the campfires, cooking out, and just the general vibe around camp. I just need sleep. I just want a basic room (preferably with en-suite) to sleep in. I’ll take a look at chalets though, never thought to google them.

we went to the youth hostel at Borrowdale in the lake district we camped but had use of the facilities of the hostel so proper showers, kitchen with fridges cookers, crockery etc, and the café did a cracking full English in the morning and obviously for someone wanting a proper room they were available and reasonably priced

Google B&B with Campsites or Campsites with B&B - lots come up!

And...check the MN Camping Board! (under Travel)
