Dd is turning 13 soon. I’d love to organise an outdoors puzzle party. We get on super well with our neighbours and had socially distanced drinks with them since lockdown started. So it would be really nice to maybe set up something like a race between the families to solve the clues. I was thInking of using black light markers to put a clue on something they find in the garden. Maybe we could go outside and collect numbers or letters that I have sellotaped on to lampposts to spell out the next location.
I’m happy to buy a few things. Has anyone got any ideas or has done anything similar themselves?

Sorry no ideas from me but that sounds amazing, have you had a poke around youtube/Pinterest? I just looked up 'escape room party' on Pinterest and lots of diy ideas have popped up, hope you and your family have an amazing party.

Ah thanks. I spoke to a colleague once who gave me loads of ideas. I have got a brain like a sieve and am now wishing I wrote all her ideas down! I’ll check out Pinterest. I might buy a couple of combination locks and they have to work out the code. I was thinking the last thing was that they could find the location of her presents. But, presents..... that’s another thread all together!!😁
