I get a pang of envy looking at beautiful pristine looking celeb houses - oddly I never get envious about celebs/others having jewellery, nice clothes, holidays or meals out - but houses do!

Even this one that michelle keegan lives in (where you can't even see the full house in the link below but it looks super nice in some of the articles I've seen)

Anyone else like that?

P.S I haven't really downsized but just been used to living (but not owning) in a room in a semi-detached house.

I live in a two bed house. Which I love. I house sat in a grade two listed Edwardian house. A definite back and front for the servants and the family members ( not used like that now obviously). Third floor up is a long way away. Huge corridors
Takes a while to walk to other parts of the house.

Was looking forward to it. I hated it. It is very large. Not nice and homey like my house. Not nice when it was dark outside. Cold even with the heating on and I know it costs them a fortune to heat. Was so glad to go home. I never wanted a huge house anyway but that made me realise how much I didn’t want a huge house.

My mother ( who lives in a house much bigger than mine ) always said - you can only sit in one chair at once. Each to their own and I am happy for that couple but looks a bit bland to me - I would rather have a smaller and cosier and more personal house.
